Spotlight Selection

Pressing enter in Spotlight on iOS is a powerful way to speed up your search. The only problem is that you're limited to the first result. If you have two similarly named apps, like Youtube and Youtube Music, you have to move your finger to the results. But what if you could control your selection straight within the keyboard?

This iPhone prototype borrows the magnetic pointer from iPadOS. Drag from the return key, and the pointer snaps onto whichever result you're over, so you can pick past the top hit without lifting your thumb. I go into it more in An Ode to Spotlight.
